Picture yourself traversing the majestic mountains alongside the remote Dukha community, riding reindeer as they embark on their autumn migration. Or envision yourself braving the bone-chilling winters, crossing the expansive Gobi Desert atop resilient camels.

What’s included?

All of our expeditions include airport pick up and drop off. Accomodation within the trip dates, this includes hotel stay in the city and camping style accomodation while out in the country side. We provide three cooked meals a day, both western style and Mongolian cooking along with snacks and drinks. Our chef can cater to gluten free and vegetarian diets. We also provide every participant with a beautiful made to measure Mongolian style deel to wear on the trip.

What’s not included?

Flights, travel insurance and accomodation and activities outside the trip dates. Though we are happy to help organise some of these for you.

Gobi Cold Camel Expedition Date: Late January 2024 Distance: 300km Duration: 2 weeks

Cost: $6,000 USD

Experience the magic of the Gobi Desert during the coldest part of winter on a camel expedition like no other. Picture ice-covered camels traversing diverse terrains, from red sand dunes to icy mountains, bare plains to prehistoric striped cliffs. Discover the unexpected beauty of the desert in this season, reminiscent of a scene from Star Wars. This unique adventure is ideal for those seeking an extraordinary experience and the opportunity to be part of a team. You must possess competent horse-riding skills, as trotting will be required to cover the distance. Your journey will include witnessing a traditional winter camel racing festival and beauty contest, participating in camel milking, and immersing yourself in the life of traditional camel herders in the Gobi Desert. As a special inclusion, you will receive your own custom-made winter deel, boots, and hat.

Bring on the Birds: June 2024 & 2025 Duration 10days

Cost - $5000 USD

This is our first non riding holiday and is designed for those who have always dreamed of seeing Mongolias wildlife and nature but don’t wish to or have the experience to do it from the saddle. You’ll get the same wonderful time with nomads, access to remoter wilderness areas and full support with chef and translators as well as traditional outfits just like on every other expedition.Come bird and wildlife watching with us. Attend the spring Crane festival in eastern Mongolia. We’ll take you to some of Mongolias most beautiful locations. In June, Mongolia experiences the late spring/early summer season, and this is an excellent time for birdwatching as many species are active during their breeding season. Some of the birds you can potentially see in Mongolia in June include:

  2. Mongolian Lark (Melanocorypha mongolica)

  3. Pallas's Sandgrouse (Syrrhaptes paradoxus)

  4. Siberian Rubythroat (Calliope calliope)

  6. Horned Lark (Eremophila alpestris)

  7. Altai Accentor (Prunella himalayana)

  8. Whooper Swan (Cygnus cygnus)

Remember that birdwatching can be highly dependent on specific locations, habitats, and the availability of water sources. Mongolia's diverse landscapes, including steppes, deserts, and mountains, provide a range of habitats for various bird species.

Ride to the Reindeer Expedition Date: August 20th- September 3rd 2024 and similar dates in 2025

Cost: $6,000 USD 2024 due to rising costs our expedition prices will go up in 2025 to $8000USD


Immerse yourself in the beauty of northern Mongolia as you venture into the homeland of the reindeer and the Dukha people. Witness the last remaining group on Earth that rides reindeer in this remote mountain environment, where fewer than 200 families reside. Journey on horseback through the breathtaking mountains, stay in tepees with Dukha families, ride and herd reindeer, harvest blueberries and pine nuts, and discover the reindeer's lifestyle firsthand. Additionally, spend a day with our exceptional guides in the Darkhad Valley, experiencing traditional yak, sheep, and goat herding, as well as horse racing. This untouched wilderness is home to critically endangered species, including ibex, snow leopards, moose, and argali.

Attack of the Yaks Date: September 15th-25th 2024 and similar dates for 2025

This incredible journey will test your physical limits as you traverse vast landscapes, starting from the Gobi Desert in the south and concluding in the mountains of the Dukha people in the north. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to ride camels, horses, yaks, and reindeer, encountering diverse terrains such as deserts, mountains, and the magnificent Mongolian steppe. Join a remarkable team, receive your custom-made deel (traditional Mongolian attire), and undergo tailored training plans. This adventure will be filmed for Mongolian TV, capturing your extraordinary feat.

All our expeditions include airport transfers, accommodations, meals, translators, and internal travel within Mongolia. We will handle the necessary paperwork for your visa and offer advice on flights.
